Tesco has rolled out 147 kiosks to 120 shops that allow customers to access the grocer’s whole range for the first time in-store.
The kiosks give shoppers access to Tesco.com, and link to the grocer’s Clubcard systems, allowing customers to see what vouchers they have available on their loyalty card.
Customers can use the kiosks to exchange their Clubcard loyalty points for vouchers and can also use the kiosks to join the Clubcard scheme.
Richard Barrett, sales director at software company Retec Interface, which is working with Tesco on the kiosks, said there is potential for further details to be added to the kiosks, such as wine recommendations for particular food.
Tesco is deciding whether to roll out the kiosks to its 2,800 UK and Ireland stores.
