JD Sports Fashion looks to be continuing its spending spree and could snap up online sports offer Kitbag from home shopping group Findel.

According to reports, JD Sports is looking to buy the business from Findel, which has been trying to offload its non-core assets. Kitbag is also understood to have courted interest from private equity groups.

Kitbag employs around 200 staff and has a turnover of around £30m.

JD has made several acquisitions this year including French retailer Chausport and rugby brands Kooga and Canterbury Europe. 

JD was not available for comment.
