USC plans to launch a loyalty card following the roll-out of a replacement EPoS system to all stores.
The 39-store branded fashion chain will use the Island Pacific Store application at its tills - which will be fully live in November — to introduce the loyalty scheme, as well as to improve the offers and promotions available in its stores. The scheme is to launch in the near future.
USC invested in the new technology as it felt that the EPoS system it is replacing was out of date.
The system is live in 29 stores, with a further eight due to go live this week and two new stores to be up and running on the system in November. It will allow monitoring and real-time reporting on all store activity.
